Updated 4th January 2021 1700hrs
Young Driver has today announced that lessons will not be able to take place until Saturday 20th February 2021.
We have not taken this decision lightly: the rapid rise of Covid-19 cases, the near overwhelmed status of many local hospitals and the increasing number of areas being put into Tier 4 has led us to conclude that it is not safe or responsible for us to operate as usual at this time, even with the PPE and precautions we have in place.
If you have a lesson booked at any date up to the 19th February 2021, we will be contacting you shortly by email with information on how to easily reschedule your lesson to a future date convenient to you. (Please do check your junk boxes as sometimes our emails end up there!)
The good news is that at the end of 2020 we provisionally booked a lot of extra dates at our venues for the first five months of 2021, just in case this situation should happen. This means that you won’t have to wait too long if your lesson has been postponed or if you are looking to buy new lessons or vouchers.
The Young Driver office remains open on weekdays from 9am until 5pm if you wish to contact us, please email [email protected] or call us on 0333 577 9010. Our staff are working from home but have full access to our booking systems: we’re here to help you.
You can still buy gift vouchers and book driving lessons from 20th February onwards. If there is any government update such that we can operate sooner (or later) than 20th February then we will keep you updated.
We’d like to thank all of you for your custom and support throughout 2020 and we apologise for this situation which, as I am sure you will understand, is beyond our control. We look forward to driving lessons restarting again very soon.
