Welcome to Young Driver Brent Cross!

Our simulated road layout at Brent Cross is designed to give our Young Drivers a realistic experience of what driving is like on-road.

The whole driving area is two way traffic system and includes road junctions and a series of roundabouts. Within the driving area are zones to develop specific driving skills. We have a figure of 8 zone to help our pupils develop their own steering technique and clutch control skills. We also have a size judging zone where our pupils can learn spatial awareness around the car.

As well as these zones, we have dedicated areas where pupils can learn how to parallel park, reverse round a corner and turn the car around using the turn in the road manoeuvre. We also have a large space for pupils to build up speed safely, allowing the practice of gear changes (up to 3rd gear).

Young Driver Brent Cross has a large outside viewing area and free parking for customers on the lower levels. Customers also have convenient access to the shopping centre including the food mall for refreshments.
