Reading is a great venue for Young Driver lessons because there’s plenty of space for driving activities for both beginners and drivers with more experience.
Beginners have space to perfect the clutch, gears, steering and braking before tacking a range of junctions including crossroads, give ways, stop junctions and roundabouts. We have one and two way roads including dedicated zones for parking, reversing, manoeuvres and steering practice.
There is free parking, toilets and a large area for spectator viewing. We offer light refreshments on site.
Please note we do not provide spectator seating at this venue but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
Young Driver Reading is just 15 minutes drive from Reading town centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants. For history buffs, Reading's famous Abbey ruins and the museum of rural life are neareby along with a number of National Trust properties including Basildon Park and Grey’s Court.
