Free to enter competition!
Every year, the YOUNG DRIVER™ Challenge aims to find the best young drivers in the country – but they must be aged over 10 and under 17 years old.
Now in its 3rd year, anyone can enter the competition when they take their usual YOUNG DRIVER™ lesson at one of our 45 venues throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
There is no charge to enter - just let us know when you check in for your Young Driver lesson at your local YOUNG DRIVER™ centre and your instructor will assess you during your lesson.
From all of the entries around the UK, our judges will select the 40 top scoring drivers who will be will be invited to the Young Driver Challenge final. This year's final will be held at The British Motor Museum, Warwickshire, on 3rd September 2016. Here, Britain's 40 top young drivers will be put through their paces on a series of driving "tests". Our judging team will select an overall winner for each of our two categories: 10 –13 year olds and 14 –16 year olds. Our judging panel will then announce Britain's best young driver - the overall winner of the YOUNG DRIVER™ Challenge 2016!
Just to get through to the final is a great achievement and so every finalist receives a special medal as well as the winners and runners up receiving individual trophies plus, for one participant, the accolade of being the YOUNG DRIVER™ of the Year 2016!
