Renowned motoring journalist and Young Driver Patron Quentin Willson sadly passed away

We were greatly saddened to hear the news that Quentin Willson passed away on November 8th.

A renowned and respected journalist, broadcaster and motoring campaigner, Quentin was a passionate advocate for Young Driver. 

As our patron, he gave us excellent advice based on his unrivalled knowledge of the car industry, road safety, marketing and PR. It is no exaggeration to say that Young Driver would not be here today were it not for Quentin's support.

Those of us in the Young Driver family will remember Quentin's friendship, enthusiasm, good humour and unstinting loyalty over the past sixteen years. He was a lovely, warm and generous man and we will all miss him greatly.

Our thoughts go out to Quentin's family at this sad time.
