Easily accessible from the M5, this is one of our designated 'Super Sites', young drivers can learn everything from the basics up to advanced driving techniqes here. The driving area is a 1.3km purpose built road circuit with junctions, a roundabout and even a pedestrian crossing, offering a safe and quiet equivalent to a public road on which learner drivers can develop their vehicle control skills. As you would expect, this extensive venue offers one and two way roads, junctions from stop and give way to roudnabouts and crossroads and also manoeuvre and steering zones, parking zones and even traffic lights.
There is a dedicated area for spectators, free parking and light refreshments are available.
Exeter Red One is less than 20 minutes drive from the ancient walled city of Exeter with its shops, cafes, restaurants and attractions. Alternatively, the donkey sanctuary at Sidmouth is only 20 minutes from Young Driver.
From Junction 30 of the M5 follow signs for Sidmouth follow the A3052 for one mile Westpoint is on the left and is well sign posted. The postcode to use is EX5 1DJ or type in your Sat nav Oil Mill Lane.
