We look forward to welcoming you to Taunton Racecourse where we transform the roads and car park into a fantastic road system with roundabouts, junctions, parking practice areas and manoeuvring areas, as well as big open spaces for beginners to master clutch and gears.
More experienced drivers can tackle junctions including cross roads, roundabouts, give ways and stop junctions as we have a mixture of one and two way roads. We have free parking, toilets, light refreshments and a dedicated viewing area.

Explore the 16th-century Hestercombe House and Gardens, tour the Museum of Somerset at Taunton Castle, or walk along the Quantock Hills.
Taunton Racecourse is on the B3170 road from Taunton to Corfe & Honiton, approx 2 miles south of Taunton Town Centre. Leave the M5 at Junction 25, and travel towards Taunton, following the signs for Racecourse.
If you are travelling on the A303 from the West e.g. Honiton/Exeter direction turn left onto B3170 which will bring you directly to the racecourse.
If you are travelling on the A303 from the East e.g. Chard/Ilminster direction then turn right at the Eagle Cross Tavern and continue until you reach the crossroads. Turn right and follow the B3170 to the racecourse.
The Racecourse is about 2 miles from the centre of Taunton and there is a very limited public bus service, details of which can be found by following this link.
