Our Carlisle venue is one of our larger courses, suitable for beginners and more advanced drivers alike. With plenty of space for learning clutch control, gears and steering, we have also created a realistic road system using the car parks and perimeter roads which include T junctions, roundabouts, cross roads and stop junctions as well as one and two way traffic and areas for judging car control, steering and parking manoeuvres. There is free parking, a customer viewing area and toilets nearby in the main building.
Making a day of it? The city centre is only a short drive away and there you can discover the city’s Roman heritage, enjoy the iconic Carlisle Castle, or Carlisle Cathedral. If you’re in the mood for some retail therapy, shopping in Carlisle will not disappoint. You’ll find all your favourite high-street brands as well as independent boutiques and lively markets, with opportunities for browsing and buying at every turn. Head to The Lanes Shopping Centre, in the heart of the city, for all the well-known retailers, or wander the surrounding winding streets in the city centre featuring a blend of independent shops.

From the North and South
Leave M6 at junction 42, follow signs for Dalston. Follow the road for approx 2 miles until you reach a staggered junction and turn right. The racecourse is approximately 1 mile on the left hand side.
From the east
Take A69 or A66 to M6 motorway. Join the M6 and leave at junction 42 and follow directions above.
From the west
Travel along the A595 following signs for Carlisle. Continue along this road and take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout. Follow the road past the Garden Centre and turn left at the junction. Follow this road and at T-junction in Dalston turn right. Follow road until you reach Bridge End pub. Turn left over the bridge and follow signs for Durdar. When you reach the next junction, turn left. The racecourse is approximately a mile on the left hand side.
