MOCK PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST

We’re offering drivers a Mock Practical Driving Test experience.

Aimed at 16 year olds + , drivers can use this experience to build their confidence in anticipation of taking the real driving test. They will be able to concentrate on controlling the car and listening to instructions, instead of navigating traffic (our mock test takes place on private land, so no need to worry about busy roads!).

A driving instructor will mark the driver using an official 'Driving Test Report' during the 45 minute driving session, and give them a helpful debrief afterwards. The test will include ‘show me, tell me’ questions, emergency stops, manoeuvres and the pupil will demonstrate their ability to drive independently.

The whole experience lasts for 1 hour. 

We advise you to have 3 or more YD sessions before undertaking this experience. 

What’s included?

• Short briefing on what will happen during the test
• A 45 minute mock test using official 'Driving Test Report' score sheet completed by driving instructor
• A debrief to run through the test (approximately 10 minutes), highlighting good points and any failures and how to correct these.
