Conveniently located on the A130 east of Essex Regiment Way and only 10 minutes from Chelmsford, Chelmer Park & Ride is a large driving area suitable for all levels of young driver from total beginners to those with more experience.
After mastering the clutch and gears you can perfect your steering, braking, reversing skills and more during your sessions with us. The course includes one and two way driving, T junctions, cross roads, roundabouts and stop junctions. We have toilets, light refreshments, free parking and a dedicated viewing area for parents.
The City of Chelmsford is only 15 minutes away by car and has a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and attractions.
Chelmer Valley Park & Ride is situated along the A130, 5 miles north of Chelmsford.
Surrounded by picturesque countryside the 1000+ car park has excellent transport links via the A12, A131, A120 and M11.
