Young Driver™ South of England Showground is one of our Super Sites which means we have a more extensive driving zone available for experienced drivers as well as areas for beginners to master the clutch and gears.  

The course layout comprises one and two way roads and real junctions including crossroads, roundabouts, stop and T-junctions.  There are roads where young drivers can easily reach speeds of 30 mph in safety, giving drivers plenty of practice in moving through the gears.  

We have designed several realistic manoeuvre zones where youngsters can practice steering, reversing round a corner, turn in the road, bay and parallel parking.

There is free parking in the large car park and a dedicated viewing area. Toilet facilities are available onsite, as are light refreshments.

Please note dogs are not permitted on site, with the exception of Guide Dogs and smoking (including e-cigarettes) is also not permitted on site.

Days Out

Nearby is the tow of Haywards Heath with an excellent choice of places to eat, including The Broadway, a honey-pot of restaurants, bistros and wine bars while shoppers can find a wide variety of shops in and around the pedestrianised Orchards Shopping Centre. Victoria Park and Beech Hurst Gardens are perfect for a picnic.
